The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a dust alert set to be in effect from 10:30 am until 4:00 pm on Wednesday. The alert warns of fresh winds causing blowing dust and sand, potentially reducing horizontal visibility to less than 2000 meters at times over some internal areas.
In response to the alert, the NCM has also issued a yellow alert for the Nahil area, urging the public to exercise caution during outdoor activities.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Police have issued a warning to drivers, urging them to be cautious due to low visibility caused by high winds and dust. They have further advised individuals to refrain from shooting videos or using their phones while driving for the sake of their safety.
