The UAE’s first-ever regulated lottery, managed by Abu Dhabi-based The Game LLC, has officially been launched, offering residents a chance to win a grand prize of Dh100 million.
According to a Khaleej Times report, the inaugural live draw is set for December 14, marking a significant milestone in the country’s gaming industry.
Licensed by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in July, The UAE Lottery introduces a variety of games for residents aged 18 and above. Tickets are available online through the official UAE Lottery website. Aside from the grand prize, seven winners will be selected to receive Dh100,000 each, and scratch cards offer the chance to win up to Dh1 million.
Bishop Woosley, director of Lottery Operations at The Game LLC, highlighted the platform’s focus on responsible gaming and fairness. “Following a rigorous evaluation by GCGRA, our operations are designed to ensure global standards, providing transparency from the draw process to winner selection,” he said.
