UAE’s 3-month visit visas no longer available

The UAE has ceased issuing three-month visit visas, as confirmed by a report from Khaleej Times. A representative from the Federal Authority For Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) stated that these visas are no longer up for grabs.

“The three-month entry permit was accessible a few months back, but is now phased out. Tourists can, however, avail 30- or 60-day visas. These can be issued by travel agencies,” the call centre executive mentioned.

Travel agents corroborated this update in a Khaleej Times report, noting that their online portal no longer provides an option for the three-month visit visa.

Historically, the three-month visa had been suspended during the Covid-19 outbreak, replaced with a 60-day visa. The longer visa was reintroduced in May as a leisure visa.

Notably, in Dubai, 90-day visas are still available for visitors who are direct kin of local residents. An executive from Amer’s call centre confirmed that residents can bring in parents or close relatives using this three-month scheme.
