UAE weather update: Temperatures to plunge to 6ºC in mountainous areas

The National Centre of Meteorology forecasts a day ranging from fair to partly cloudy, with low clouds likely over some Eastern areas. Light to moderate winds are expected to freshen, becoming strong at times over the sea, which could lead to blowing dust across the region.

Temperatures are anticipated to reach highs of 27ºC, marking a noticeable decrease from last week’s highs of 34ºC. In Abu Dhabi, the mercury is set to climb to 24ºC, while Dubai will see a slightly warmer 25ºC. The cooler trend continues, with lows of 19ºC in Abu Dhabi, 20ºC in Dubai, and a chilly 6ºC in the mountainous regions.

The humidity is expected to increase by night and into Wednesday morning in some internal areas, with Abu Dhabi and Dubai experiencing humidity levels ranging from 45 to 75 percent.

Marine conditions are forecasted to be very rough to rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough in the Oman Sea, as per the latest updates from the meteorological authorities.
