The weather in the UAE on Tuesday is anticipated to be fair, with partly cloudy skies prevailing throughout the region. Some low clouds may form towards the east, according to the National Meteorology Centre (NCM).
Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight into Wednesday morning, particularly in inland and coastal areas, possibly leading to mist formation, the NCM further reported. Winds are forecasted to be light to moderate, occasionally gaining strength, while sea conditions are expected to range from rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to slight waves in the Oman Sea.
In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, maximum temperatures are projected to reach around 24℃.
Looking ahead to the weather forecast from February 28 to March 1, the NCM issued a report indicating the country would experience the influence of a surface low-pressure system from the Southwest, accompanied by an extension of an upper-air low-pressure system and a western Jetstream flowing intermittently from the West.
Wednesday and Thursday are expected to see partly cloudy to cloudy conditions over scattered areas, with a chance of light to moderate rainfall, potentially heavy at times in certain areas, particularly in the northern, eastern, and southern regions. Western areas will experience fresh to strong north-westerly winds, especially from noon on Thursday. Temperatures are forecasted to decrease gradually by Thursday night as cloud cover diminishes.
On Friday, clouds may develop over some Eastern areas, possibly resulting in convective activity and daytime rainfall. Winds are expected to be light southeasterly, transitioning to north-westerly by noon on Thursday, becoming moderate to fresh and strong, particularly over the sea and with cloud cover, leading to blowing dust and sand.
Sea conditions are projected to be moderate, turning rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf on Thursday and slight to moderate, possibly rough by Thursday night in the Oman Sea.
