Residents in some parts of the UAE can expect a noticeable drop in temperatures, with the mercury set to plunge to as low as 7ºC, particularly in mountainous regions. According to the latest update from the National Centre of Meteorology, the country is bracing for a cooler climate, accompanied by a chance of rainfall, predominantly in the northern, eastern, and island areas.
The skies are anticipated to be partly cloudy, turning densely overcast at intervals throughout the day. Meteorologists have also highlighted the likelihood of increased humidity by nightfall extending into Saturday morning. This change is expected to be more pronounced in several inland locations, raising the possibility of mist formation.
Wind patterns are forecasted to be light to moderate generally but may gain strength occasionally, especially over the sea, making maritime conditions somewhat turbulent. The Arabian Gulf is predicted to witness rough to moderate seas, while the Oman Sea should experience slight to moderate waves.
While the minimum temperatures might hover around 7ºC in the highlands, the maximum temperatures in the internal regions are expected to reach up to 28ºC, offering a mixed bag of weather conditions for the residents and visitors in the region.
