On November 2, 2023, this group of volleyball enthusiasts gathered at Jumeirah Baccalaureate School for the second Spike for a Cause charity event. This spirited volleyball tournament raised vital funds for the victims of Typhoon Kristine in the Bicol Region of the Philippines.
Organized by a dedicated group of volleyball lovers, the event brought together players who donated their time and resources, demonstrating the power of community and sportsmanship in times of crisis. All proceeds from the tournament will be sent directly to aid those affected by the typhoon, helping them recover and rebuild their lives.
This year’s event follows the success of last year’s Spike for a Cause, which raised funds for victims of the earthquake in Syria. The organizers are committed to continuing their mission of providing support to communities in need through the joy of volleyball.
