The UAE is set to experience a gradual decrease in temperatures, according to the latest report from the National Centre of Meteorology. The day is expected to be generally fair with occasional partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate winds will prevail across the region.
Authorities have issued a fog alert, cautioning residents about the possibility of reduced horizontal visibility due to fog formation. This is particularly expected in some internal and coastal areas, especially westward, from midnight until 10am on Thursday. The alert includes a detailed map highlighting the affected areas.
Temperature highs could reach up to 29ºC in some parts of the country, with Abu Dhabi and Dubai expecting peaks of around 27ºC. However, a gradual temperature decrease is anticipated, with lows potentially dropping to 20ºC in Abu Dhabi, 21ºC in Dubai, and as low as 12ºC in mountainous regions.
Humidity is expected to increase by night and into Friday morning, with a chance of fog or mist formation over certain internal and coastal areas. Humidity levels will range from 45 to 95 percent in Abu Dhabi and 55 to 90 percent in Dubai.
Sea conditions are forecasted to be slight both in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, indicating favorable conditions for marine activities.
