UAE authorities have informed residents of an upcoming tsunami simulation exercise set for Al Rughailat Beach in Fujairah.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced that the ‘IOWave 23 Tsunami Exercise’ will take place from 10am on October 11.
During the exercise, residents can anticipate mock evacuation drills and the coordinated presence of emergency response vehicles.
Officers and various MoI teams will also be stationed at the beach to oversee the operations.
