UAE temperatures drop as Jebel Jais records 3.8°C amid cloudy skies

Temperatures in the UAE took a sharp dip following light to moderate rainfall in parts of Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah yesterday and this morning. Jebel Jais recorded the lowest temperature in the country at 3.8°C at 12:15 AM, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

The NCM predicts partly cloudy weather across the UAE today, with low clouds forming over the East coast. Rain-bearing clouds may develop by the afternoon, particularly over the sea and areas in the east and north, such as Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Coastal cities like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah reported cooler temperatures, ranging from 15 to 20°C. Overnight humidity is expected to rise, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist in some internal areas.
