The UAE fuel price committee has revealed the petrol and diesel prices for January 2024, marking a significant drop as the new year rolls in. Starting January 1, motorists will see a decrease in fuel costs across the board.
Super 98 petrol is set to cost Dh2.82 per litre, showing a noticeable decrease from December’s Dh2.96. Drivers using Special 95 petrol can also expect to spend less, with the price per litre dropping to Dh2.71 from Dh2.85. Those opting for E-Plus 91 will pay Dh2.64 a litre, down from Dh2.77. Furthermore, diesel prices will see a reduction to Dh3.00 per litre, falling from Dh3.19 in the previous month.
This price adjustment comes as a relief to many, especially after observing the fluctuating fuel costs over the last year.
