The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued red and yellow alerts across the UAE this morning due to foggy weather, cautioning residents about reduced visibility. Fog is expected to persist until 9am, prompting motorists to drive carefully.
Abu Dhabi Police urged drivers to follow the adjusted speed limits displayed on electronic boards, with the limit reduced to 80 km/h on several roads, including Abu Dhabi Al Ain (Al Khatam – Razeen) and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Road (Kizad – Saih Al Sedira).
As the day progresses, some eastern and southern areas may experience rainfall as convective clouds form. Humidity will rise to 90% in coastal regions, while temperatures will range from 19°C in mountainous areas to 40°C in internal regions. Light to moderate winds are expected, with moderate to slight seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
