UAE residents can now travel to Armenia without a visa

Starting July 1, UAE residents will be able to enter Armenia without a visa, as confirmed by Khaleej Times. The new policy allows stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism, business, or leisure, provided the residency visa is valid for at least six months.

Previously limited to UAE nationals, the visa-free access now extends to residents of all GCC countries holding valid residency permits. Armenia’s Tourism Committee said the move “broadens the accessibility for a substantial segment of the GCC expatriate communities.”

“This milestone reflects our dedication to making Armenia more accessible to regional travellers,” said Lusine Gevorgyan, Chairperson of the Tourism Committee.

The initiative is part of Armenia’s broader effort to strengthen tourism and economic ties with the GCC, EU, Schengen, and US.
