President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed His Excellency Benjamin Abalos Jr., Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government of the Philippines, in a meeting held at Qasr Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, Secretary Abalos conveyed the greetings of Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., extending well wishes for the continued prosperity of the UAE and strengthening bilateral relations. Sheikh Mohamed reciprocated by sending his greetings to President Marcos, expressing his hopes for further progress in the Philippines.
Both leaders discussed enhancing cooperation and exploring ways to strengthen ties between the two countries.
Several high-ranking UAE officials, including H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, were also in attendance.
