UAE president provides healthcare to 1,000 Palestinian cancer patients

The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has announced the provision of medical treatment for 1,000 Palestinian cancer patients from the Gaza Strip. This initiative will see these patients receiving comprehensive treatment and healthcare in various UAE hospitals.

The decision is a testament to the UAE’s continued support for the Palestinian people, aiming to alleviate the growing humanitarian challenges in Gaza. This initiative is part of the UAE’s broader efforts to provide medical aid and support to those in need.

Additionally, His Highness recently directed that 1,000 Palestinian children in need of medical attention be brought to the UAE for treatment, along with their families. These children will benefit from full healthcare services in UAE hospitals until they have completely recovered and are ready to return home.

In a related move, His Highness has also ordered the establishment of a fully equipped field hospital in the Gaza Strip as part of the ‘Gallant Knight 3’ operation. This field hospital is intended to meet the urgent humanitarian needs arising from the ongoing conflict in the region.
