The UAE is preparing for another bout of rainfall just a week after experiencing unprecedented downpours that wreaked havoc across the country. The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather forecast for April 23, predicting partly cloudy conditions with occasional cloud cover. Light to moderate rainfall is expected, potentially intensifying in certain areas, with coastal regions likely to see a dip in temperatures.
In its five-day forecast bulletin, the NCM also anticipates light to moderate northeasterly to southeasterly winds on Tuesday, later shifting to northwesterly directions with speeds of 15 to 25 km per hour, and gusts reaching up to 40 km/hour.
Humidity is expected to prevail, especially in coastal and internal areas, with the possibility of fog or mist formation. However, as the day progresses, skies are forecasted to become fair to partly cloudy, particularly towards the east.
Looking ahead to Saturday, the NCM suggests morning humidity, particularly in coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog or mist. By the afternoon, skies are expected to clear up, with some possibility of clouds forming over mountains, potentially bringing rainfall.
