The Traffic and Patrols Department of the Sharjah Police General Command has confiscated 11 vehicles following reports of reckless driving and stunts amidst rainy conditions. These actions posed a significant risk to the lives of both the drivers and other road users.
In addition to the impounded vehicles, 84 others were flagged for violations related to congregating at the scene of the reckless driving incidents.
Authorities reiterated their warnings against such behavior, emphasizing that offenders face fines of Dh2,000, accumulation of 23 black points, and a mandatory 60-day vehicle impoundment period.
