UAE petrol and diesel prices drop for April 2025

Motorists across the UAE can expect some relief at the pump this April, as fuel prices are set to go down starting April 1, 2025.

The new rates show a drop across all fuel types. Super 98 will now cost Dhs2.57 per litre, down from Dhs2.73 in March. Special 95 will also be cheaper at Dhs2.46 per litre, compared to last month’s Dhs2.61. Diesel users will see a price of Dhs2.63 per litre, lower than the previous Dhs2.77.

This marks the fourth consecutive month in 2025 that fuel prices have remained on a relatively steady decline, following the surge seen throughout most of 2024.

Fuel prices in the UAE are adjusted monthly in line with global oil price trends, a practice that began in August 2015 when the government shifted away from subsidized rates. All announced prices already include the standard 5% VAT.
