Twenty-one sick children from war-torn Gaza had their wishes fulfilled during a heartwarming event organised by the Make-A-Wish Foundation at Emirates Humanitarian City (EHC). The children were treated to magic shows, meet-and-greet sessions with cartoon characters, and a delightful spread of food and sweets.
Mubarak Al Qahtani, spokesperson for EHC, emphasized that the gathering not only granted the children’s wishes but also demonstrated the UAE’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes and supporting those in need. “Our country’s vision is rooted in the belief that every child deserves hope, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive,” he said.
The children and their mothers expressed heartfelt gratitude to the UAE, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the event organisers for bringing moments of happiness amid their struggles. Hani Al Zubaidi, CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE, highlighted the importance of bringing joy and hope to these children during such a challenging time for their homeland.
