The UAE Presidential Court announced the death of Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which occurred on Thursday. A statement from the court, carried by the state news agency Wam, expressed “heartfelt condolences and sympathies” to his family.
Sheikh Hazza, who was in his mid-30s, was a notable figure in equestrian circles and an accomplished horse rider. He was the son of Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the former President’s Representative, who passed away in 2019. Sheikh Sultan was also a brother to the late President Sheikh Khalifa.
The court’s message prayed for “Allah Almighty to shower the deceased with His vast mercy, grant him eternal paradise and provide his family and relatives with patience and solace.” No cause of death was provided in the announcement.
