Motorists across Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, and Ajman can now avail a 50% discount on traffic fines as part of special initiatives marking the UAE National Day.
Ras Al Khaimah Police announced that the discount will apply to violations committed before December 1, with the initiative running from December 1 to December 31, 2024. However, serious offences are excluded.
Similarly, Umm Al Quwain Police will offer the same discount from December 1 to January 5, 2025. The initiative also includes waiving vehicle impoundments and traffic black points, but it excludes serious violations.
Ajman Police began its discount earlier, running from November 4 to December 15, covering fines for violations committed before October 31, 2024.
Fujairah Police recently announced that a 50% discount will be available from December 2, 2024, for a duration of 53 days. The offer applies to traffic violations committed before December 1.
Authorities urged motorists to settle outstanding fines during these periods and to adhere to traffic rules, emphasizing road safety and customer satisfaction as key goals of these initiatives.
