Residents in the UAE should prepare for temporary disruptions to online services from two major government authorities on Friday, Khaleej Times reported.
The Ministry of Interior has notified the public that services provided by the Federal Prevention and Safety System, accessible through its website, application, and Civil Defence website, will be temporarily suspended. This suspension will occur on Friday, August 2, from 12pm to 1pm. During this time, technical communication services with all third parties using the Federal Prevention and Safety System will also be affected.
Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will temporarily halt its electronic services for maintenance and updates. This suspension will take place on the same day, from 9pm to 12am.
