Visitors in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will step back into a world of real snow when Winter Wonderland opens on 1 December, with both Ski Dubai and Snow Abu Dhabi preparing a full calendar of festive activities and early-bird deals. The launch also marks the first day advance bookings go live for Snow Abu Dhabi’s holiday experiences.
This year’s edition builds an immersive snowy setting across the two indoor parks, from frosted Christmas trails to themed play zones such as Magic Planet’s Toy Workshop and a colouring corner for children. Guests can also send notes to the North Pole, try quick board games through Superheated Neurons’ The Magic of Games, and meet Santa inside sub-zero surroundings.
For the first time, both venues will roll out sensory-friendly sessions designed to give people of determination a calmer environment. These dedicated hours come with reduced or no background audio, trained team members — including elves and Santa — who can communicate using basic sign language, and full wheelchair accessibility.
Ski Dubai will host sensory-friendly Meet Santa sessions on 15 December at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., followed by Breakfast with Santa at 8 a.m. the same day. Snow Abu Dhabi will hold its sensory-friendly Meet Santa runs from 15 to 19 December at 6 p.m.
Ahead of opening day, Ski Dubai visitors can still take advantage of a 20% Early Bird Discount until 30 November on skidxb.com. Snow Abu Dhabi is extending a similar 20% online discount for bookings made by 7 December, valid for visits between 12 and 20 December.

– Breakfast with Santa (AED 80 for ages 2 and below; AED 160 for ages 2+) runs daily at 9 a.m. from 12–25 December and features a morning meal at The Lodge along with Santa visits.
