UAE forecast warns of fog, shifting winds and possible rain until Friday

Residents across the UAE may encounter a mix of visibility issues, brief rain chances and changing marine conditions over the coming days, according to a multi-day outlook issued by the National Centre of Meteorology.

Early in the week, inland and coastal locations are expected to see periods of mist or fog, particularly during morning hours. Conditions on Monday are forecast to remain fair to partly cloudy, with temperatures trending upward and a possibility of light rainfall developing later in the day. Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, and sea conditions relatively calm.

By Tuesday, moisture levels are set to increase during the morning, bringing another chance of light showers, mainly affecting coastal and northern areas. Temperatures may ease slightly in western regions, while northwesterly winds strengthen over open waters, leading to more challenging sea conditions by nightfall.

Midweek weather could turn more unsettled as cooler air moves in. Wednesday is expected to bring a noticeable temperature drop, with strong northwesterly winds capable of lifting dust and sand in exposed areas. Offshore, conditions may deteriorate significantly, with seas turning rough to very rough.

Humidity is forecast to persist into Thursday mornings, accompanied by fair to partly cloudy skies. Low cloud cover may develop along coastal and northern zones, while marine conditions are expected to gradually improve later in the day.

On Friday, forecasters anticipate another humid start with a renewed chance of fog before clouds increase overnight. Temperatures are expected to climb again, while sea conditions are forecast to remain slight.
