A minor earthquake occurred in the UAE on the evening of February 2, 2024.
The National Centre of Meteorology reported that the quake, measuring 2.2 on the Richter scale, struck at 9.10 pm. Its epicenter was located west of Falaj Al Moalla in Umm Al Quwain, at a depth of 5 kilometers.
Authorities have confirmed that the tremor was not felt by residents and did not cause any impact in the country.
