An expatriate residing in Al Ain, UAE is still in shock after discovering that he has won the Dh15 million grand prize in Big Ticket’s 260th series raffle draw.
The news came as a pleasant surprise to Rajeev Arikkatt, who has been purchasing Big Ticket tickets for the past three years.
When representatives from Big Ticket informed Rajeev of his remarkable win, he couldn’t believe his luck, saying, “I still can’t believe it. I never imagined I would win the grand prize. It’s really a dream.” Rajeev had bought the winning ticket online, alongside 20 close friends and family members.
Rajeev, who works as an architectural draftsman and resides in the UAE with his wife and two children aged five and eight, is currently riding the wave of excitement and has not yet made concrete plans for his newfound fortune. As he puts it, he is “flying as high as a kite!”
