Motorists will start the new year paying less at the pump after the UAE fuel price committee released revised rates for petrol and diesel for January 2026.
The biggest reductions apply to premium fuels, with Super 98 now priced at AED 2.53 per litre, down from AED 2.70 in December. Special 95 has also been adjusted lower, set at AED 2.42 per litre compared with AED 2.58 a month earlier.
Drivers using the E-Plus category will see prices drop to AED 2.34 per litre, from AED 2.51 in December. Diesel users are likewise set to benefit, as the cost has been lowered to AED 2.55 per litre from the previous AED 2.85.
The updated rates were confirmed on Wednesday as part of the committee’s monthly review for fuel pricing in the UAE.
