UAE delivers 2,500 tonnes of aid to Gaza as humanitarian crisis deepens

A ship loaded with humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates has reached Ashdod Port, carrying urgent supplies for Gaza residents as part of the UAE’s ongoing relief effort under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

The vessel brought with it 2,500 tonnes of aid, including food parcels and children’s packages filled with essentials such as flour, dates, milk, and tea. These goods are intended to help ease the suffering of displaced families in Gaza, many of whom face severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine as living conditions continue to deteriorate.

The shipment marks another milestone in the UAE’s multi-pronged relief efforts, launched on November 5, 2023, to assist Palestinians caught in one of the region’s most dire humanitarian emergencies. Authorities said the aid will be transferred into Gaza as soon as logistical routes are cleared.

Through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE has consistently sent aid ships to Gaza, reinforcing its commitment to deliver help through every available channel. The initiative is being coordinated with UAE-based humanitarian and charitable institutions and reflects what the country calls its “consistent approach in standing with the Palestinian people under all circumstances.”
