The United Arab Emirates proudly raised its flag on the global stage as its delegation delivered outstanding performances at the I-Sing World 2025 Finals, showcasing both youthful brilliance and seasoned artistry in front of an international audience.
The brightest triumph came from 12-year-old Kirstin Reyes, who was crowned Grand Champion in the Junior Category. Her journey through the competition was marked by powerful performances that stunned judges and audiences alike—starting with a soaring rendition of Defying Gravity, followed by a heartfelt delivery of I Surrender, and sealing her win with the show-stopping And I Am Telling You. For her victory, Kirstin received USD 2,000, a championship trophy, and a certificate, marking a historic moment for the UAE. She dedicated her win to her parents, supporters back home, and her coach, Mr. Elipas Sibua, National Director of I-Sing World UAE, who guided her through the competition.
Adding to the nation’s pride, 10-year-old Celine Madison Matondo claimed 1st Place in her category with Broadway-inspired numbers, including Part of Your World, Somewhere, and Alone. Judges praised her for her range and emotional depth, describing her performances as both magical and mature.
Also making their mark were 12-year-old talents Zairah Alexine Ragat and Erinne Leora Lopez, who emerged as finalists and medalists. Zairah moved audiences with her emotional storytelling in Lost Without You, Jar of Hearts, and Hold My Hand. Erinne, meanwhile, showcased technical brilliance and sincerity with her renditions of To Love You More, The Greatest Love of All, and One Moment in Time, leaving a lasting impression.
The UAE’s delegation also included Dr. Rommel Sergio, 52, who proved that music knows no age. His performances—highlighted by This Is the Moment and You’ll Never Walk Alone—were filled with passion and hope, inspiring both the young contestants and the audience.
Mr. Sibua, in expressing gratitude, emphasized the crucial role of family support, thanking the parents who stood behind the performers: Mr. Nestor and Mrs. Cecile Matondo, Mr. Gino and Mrs. Rizalayn Ragat, Mr. Don and Mrs. Mary Anne Reyes, and Mr. Helvis and Mrs. Ambily Lopez.
