The UAE’s Cyber Security Council has sounded an alarm regarding security vulnerabilities discovered in specific Apple devices.
This announcement, shared on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, highlighted three security gaps identified in numerous products.
The vulnerabilities are found in several Apple devices including iPhone 8 and subsequent models, iPad Mini from the 5th generation onwards, macOS Monterey and later versions on Mac devices, as well as Apple Watch starting from version 4.
These susceptibilities have the potential to compromise the security of users’ information and data.
In light of this revelation, the UAE authority has earnestly requested all residents in possession of the aforementioned Apple devices to promptly update their gadgets.
This precautionary measure is crucial to ensure the devices are fully fortified against any potential security breaches.
