UAE businessman donates AED5 million to UAE ruler’s initiative

Emirati businessman Gheyath Mohammad Gheyath, owner of the GINCO Group, has pledged Dh5 million towards the Mothers’ Endowment campaign initiated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This contribution aims to support the education of millions worldwide, as part of the Dh1-billion fund established to honor mothers.

Launched by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives during Ramadan, the campaign underscores the UAE’s commitment to extending aid to communities globally. Gheyath expressed his belief that the campaign allows individuals, institutions, and businesses to compete for the greater good, supporting humanitarian and charity initiatives that positively impact lives across numerous countries.

“Supporting the education of millions is undoubtedly the best gift for our mothers,” Gheyath remarked, emphasizing the importance of investing in education to secure a better future for generations to come.

The Mothers’ Endowment campaign encourages contributions through various channels, including its website (Mothersfund.ae), a dedicated call center (800 9999), and bank transfers to the campaign’s account at Emirates Islamic Bank (AE790340003708472909201). Donations can also be made via SMS by sending “Mother” to specific numbers for Etisalat by e& users, through the DubaiNow app, and Dubai’s community contributions platform Jood (Jood.ae).
