Abu Dhabi is gearing up for the landmark Philippine Dance Music Concert (PDMC) on June 1, 2024, at the Pixoul Events Hall, Al Qana. This event promises to be a vibrant celebration of Filipino culture and artistry, highlighting the rich cultural tapestry of the Filipino community.
This project is owned by SCLC, which conceptualized it in late 2022 and onwards to 2023. This non-food event, known as PDMC, is also a unique concept for the food loving Filipino community, featuring vibrant theater-style concert performances.
PDMC project is undertaken by ProXperts Events as their events management and licensing organizer. ProXperts Events, based in Abu Dhabi, plays a crucial role as the events management and licensing organizer responsible for the logistical and legal aspects of organizing this event, ensuring it runs smoothly and complies with local regulations.
The project has garnered significant support from the Philippine Business Council-Abu Dhabi and warmly received by the Philippine Ambassador to the UAE. Various community and business groups both foreign and Filipino are coming together to support it, indicating its positive reception and the strong community and business backing. This support underscores the event’s values driven commitment to fostering cultural ties and supporting community-driven initiatives, aligning with SCLC’s values and roadmap focused on bridging cultures and connecting generations.
The event holds relevance for all, offering a platform for businesses to connect with the community and build inclusive networks. PDMC is not just another concert. This event marks the first time a cultural and Filipino project will utilize the world class facilities at Pixoul Events Hall. The performance will feature UAE-based Filipino artists with special cultural design and choreography by Benjamin “Jimbo” Alonso Sioson III, offering an authentic and immersive cultural experience.
