UAE authorities identify suspects in Moldovan citizen’s murder

The UAE has identified three Uzbek nationals as suspects in the murder of Zvi Kogan, a Moldovan-Israeli citizen residing in the country.

The Ministry of Interior named the suspects as Olimpi Tohirovic, 28, Mahmoud John Abdel Rahim, 28, and Azizbek Kamilovic, 33. Kogan was reported missing by his family last Thursday, prompting an investigation that led to the discovery of his body.

Authorities arrested the suspects on Sunday and have initiated preliminary investigations. The accused will be referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal proceedings.

Kogan, an emissary for the Chabad Hasidic movement, will be buried in Israel.
