In a move to support its citizens and ensure a stable livelihood, the emirate of Sharjah has sanctioned Dh69,426,000 to alleviate the debts of more than 100 individuals. The announcement came on Monday, March 5, following directives from Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
The debt resolution committee for Sharjah citizens has given the green light to allocate the sum to settle the debts of 131 individuals who were embroiled in financial cases. This marks the 26th batch of debtors whose financial burdens have been lifted in this manner. Since the inception of this initiative, a total of Dh1,196,560,153 has been earmarked to assist 2,343 beneficiaries, reflecting the emirate’s commitment to providing its residents with a decent and stable standard of living.
