The UAE and the Philippines are exploring ways to elevate their bilateral relations. In a recent meeting held in Manila, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in talks with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to enhance cooperation across various sectors.
During the discussion, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the strengthening ties between the two nations and expressed his deep appreciation for the significant contributions of the Filipino community in the UAE.
President Marcos conveyed his wishes for ongoing prosperity and well-being for the UAE and its citizens. He also highlighted the profound relationship between the two countries, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations on August 19, 1974.
