Two UAE soldiers killed in helicopter crash amid ongoing Iranian attacks

Two members of the UAE Armed Forces died Monday after a military helicopter went down due to a technical malfunction, the Ministry of Defence confirmed.

The ministry expressed its “deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the two martyrs, praying that Almighty God grants them His vast mercy and gives their families patience and solace.”

The crash occurred as the UAE continues to face sustained aerial bombardment from Iran. Defense authorities say 233 ballistic missiles and 1,359 drones have been intercepted and destroyed since the attacks began, along with eight cruise missiles.

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement carried by state news agency Wam, offered full solidarity with the UAE and voiced support for all measures taken by the country to protect its sovereignty and security.
