The Dubai Chapter of Tau Gamma Phi fraternity demonstrated unwavering commitment to community service through a successful donation drive aimed at supporting the Migrant Workers Office in Dubai and the Philippine Consulate in Dubai and the Northern Emirates on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
The fraternity generously supplied both offices with essential items including water dispensers, wall clocks, log books, and pens, aiming to facilitate the daily operations and improve the working conditions. Moreover, distressed kababayans currently housed at the DMW-Dubai and Philippine Consulate received much-needed donations of luggages, used clothing, toiletries, and personal hygiene products.
This recent philanthropic endeavor followed the fraternity’s active participation in the ‘Clean UAE’ drive spearheaded by the Emirates Environmental Group, a testament to the Triskelions’ consistent efforts in serving the community.
In keeping with their tradition of giving, last December saw the fraternity bringing smiles to children’s faces with a gift-distribution event at St. Mary’s Church in Oud Metha and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This initiative is part of a series of charitable activities orchestrated by the Triskelions during special holidays, illustrating their year-round commitment to community service.
The Tau Gamma Phi fraternity, renowned as the Triskelions’ Grand Fraternity, has a rich history rooted in community service and philanthropy. Originating from the Philippines, it is acknowledged as one of the largest international fraternities, having a notable membership base. The fraternity works alongside its sister sorority, Tau Gamma Sigma or the Triskelions’ Grand Sorority, championing causes for the greater good.
