Usha, a 45-year-old Indian expat based in Sharjah and a salesperson, had initially thought he didn’t win when he checked the numbers. However, a subsequent check of his raffle ID revealed he was one of the three lucky winners. Now, Usha aims to use the money to reunite with his 10-year-old son who is in India.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Rasool, a 26-year-old Afghani based in Al Ain, who operates a family herbal shop, intends to invest in his dream car and customize it. The father of two expressed his gratitude and excitement for the unexpected windfall.
