Authorities in Abu Dhabi have fined a group of individuals Dh165,000 for unlawfully entering a protected nature reserve and causing harm to critical animal habitats. The Environment Agency — Abu Dhabi (EAD) revealed the violation occurred in Al Wathba, one of its designated protected areas. The offenders had trespassed without obtaining the required permits.
EAD emphasized the importance of preserving the biodiversity and natural heritage of the Emirate, urging the public to follow environmental regulations and contribute to the protection of natural resources for future generations.
