Visitors arriving in Dubai from November 6 to November 18 will receive a unique memento upon entry. Dubai Airports has announced that a special Dubai Airshow stamp will be issued to all travelers at passport control in celebration of the Dubai Airshow.
This exclusive stamp will be available at both of the emirate’s airports, Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC). This initiative coincides with the upcoming expansions at DXB, which include new lounges, additional space, and the transformation into a fully smart airport.
Paul Griffiths, the CEO of Dubai Airports, has shared that DXB is set to undergo a major development, with an investment of Dhs6 billion to Dhs10 billion planned over the next five to seven years.
DXB, renowned for its connectivity, offers flights to 229 destinations through 88 international carriers, spanning 99 countries. The airport has maintained its position as the world’s busiest for international passengers for the ninth consecutive year according to ACI World’s report.
In 2022, DXB saw a passenger count of 66,069,981, marking a significant increase of 127 percent over the prior year. Additionally, it stood fifth in the total number of passengers globally, cementing its status as a leading international travel hub.
