Senatorial candidate Vicente “Tito” Sotto III has vowed to donate his entire salary to support underprivileged students if he wins a seat in the Senate in the 2025 elections.
Speaking before a crowd in Pampanga during a series of campaign events under the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas slate, Sotto made the promise publicly for the first time.
The campaign sorties in Pampanga were hosted by local officials led by Governor Dennis Pineda, with ten out of the eleven administration senatorial candidates present. Former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson was the only one absent.
Pampanga, with over 1.67 million registered voters, ranks as the eighth most vote-rich province in the country for the upcoming elections.
