Three young female students tragically lost their lives after being struck by a truck while walking along the roadside in San Fernando, Bukidnon.
According to a GMA Regional TV News report on Wednesday, the victims, aged five, seven, and nine, were on their way to school when the incident occurred.
The truck fled the scene, leaving the children lifeless on the ground. Authorities later found the abandoned vehicle in a sugarcane field.
The driver eventually surrendered to the police but declined to give a statement about the incident.
