The Philippines proudly brought home three Medallions for Excellence from the 2024 WorldSkills International Competition, held in Lyon, France, from September 10 to 15.
Competitors Allen S. Gacweng (cooking), Gwyneth Nicole I. Abarquez (restaurant service), and Kylle Brigette C. Dingding (graphic design technology) were recognized for their exceptional performance, scoring at least 700 points in their respective categories.
This prestigious event gathered over 1,400 participants from nearly 70 countries, competing in 59 different skills. It showcased talents across various sectors, including automotive, construction, IT, manufacturing, and services.
