This Dubai hotel is rolling out pirate feasts, sushi classes, and rooftop swims all summer long

Dusit Thani Dubai is turning up the fun this summer, offering families and staycationers a host of activities designed for relaxation, discovery, and bonding. From poolside mornings to themed culinary adventures, the five-star hotel has lined up experiences that promise to keep both kids and adults entertained.

One highlight is the Rise, Dip & Dine weekday package, which combines an international buffet breakfast at 24th St. with full-day access to the rooftop pool overlooking the Burj Khalifa. Priced at AED 150 per person or AED 225 for two, the deal runs Monday to Friday, with breakfast served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by pool access until 6:00 PM.

Families can also trade screen time for hands-on fun at MaKiRa’s Sushi Making Class. For AED 199, kids get to roll two sushi types with ice cream on the side, while adults at AED 239 enjoy three sushi varieties plus unlimited soft drinks. Classes are held daily, except Tuesdays, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Weekends are packed with themed brunches. Every Saturday, 24th St. transforms into a pirate’s cove with treasure hunts and global cuisines at the Pirates of the Caribbean Brunch (12:30 PM to 4:00 PM). Fridays, on the other hand, bring the Summer Socials evening feast—an upgraded street-food style brunch featuring live cooking stations, international eats, and skyline views from the 24th floor, starting at AED 129 per person.

Exclusively for in-house guests, children can try the Junior Hotelier Program, where they step into real hotel roles, from front desk duties to F&B tasks, turning hospitality into playtime. Meanwhile, parents can join the Thai Cooking Class at Benjarong, learning to prepare a three-course Thai meal with expert chefs for AED 399 per person, including a mocktail, available Sunday to Thursday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

After a day of activities, Jones the Grocer rounds out the family experience with a wholesome kids’ menu designed to satisfy little appetites.

From sushi rolling to rooftop dips, pirate adventures to Thai cooking, Dusit Thani Dubai is offering more than a staycation—it’s a summer-long celebration of food, family, and fun.
