A marketing firm in Thailand, Whiteline Group, has introduced a unique benefit for its single employees – paid time off to date. The company has rolled out “Tinder leave,” allowing staff to take time off specifically to explore romantic connections through the Tinder app.
As part of this initiative, Whiteline Group is also covering the cost of six-month Tinder Gold and Tinder Platinum subscriptions for its employees, starting from June to December this year. These premium subscriptions offer features like seeing who likes you and boosting profiles, among others.
The company believes that helping employees balance their personal lives with work can boost happiness and, in turn, improve productivity. Research supports this, with a survey showing that 76% of respondents feel happier and more productive at work when in healthy relationships.
This initiative mirrors similar moves by other companies, such as Gushcloud International, which also introduced Tinder leave for its staff in Southeast Asia.
