The new Bluewaters Beach Hotel is set to open in Dubai this month, marking a significant shift in the rebranding of the former Caesar’s Palace Dubai hotel on Bluewaters.
The earlier reported exit of the Vegas-born brand from the hotel will pave the way for a new concept introduced by a partnership involving Ennismore, the Banyan Tree Group, and Dubai Holding. A significant portion of the former Caesars Palace, namely the Residences and Palace Tower, will be transformed into the Banyan Tree Dubai. This new establishment will boast 179 rooms, 30 suites, and an exclusive four-bedroom villa with a private pool and beach section for VIP guests.
The Banyan Tree Dubai will also emphasize wellness, featuring a BanyanTree Spa complete with indoor and outdoor yoga areas, a relaxation zone, a gym, mini rainforests, hydrotherapy pools, and multiple treatment rooms. The official rebranding and booking system transition are scheduled for November 13, 2023.
Further updates on the Caesars Palace Dubai transition plans reveal the introduction of the Bluewaters Beach Hotel. Dining offerings will undergo significant changes, resulting in the closure of restaurants like Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, The Bacchanal, and Venus Ristorante Neptue Pool and Beach.
The renowned beach club, Cove Beach, is also set to relocate from its current Caesars Palace position to the luxurious new JBR property, La Vie. However, some restaurants like Demon Duck by Alvin Leung, The Robata, and Takahisa will remain post-rebranding.
Banyan Tree Group, together with Ennismore’s in-house F&B concept studio Carte Blanched, will be at the forefront of developing new dining concepts. Further details are yet to be disclosed.
Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding, remarked on the developments, saying, “Bluewaters has always been a hub for grand projects that encapsulate luxury and promote Dubai as a global torchbearer in the tourism sector. Partnering with giants like Accor, Ennismore, and the Banyan Tree Group is a significant step towards enhancing Dubai’s esteemed hospitality scene.”
