Ten returning OFWs in Malabon receive livelihood aid during ‘LAB for All’ caravan

Ten returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Malabon were granted livelihood assistance under the Department of Migrant Workers’ (DMW) Balik Pinay Balik Hanapbuhay (BPBH) program during the “LAB for All” caravan held at the Malabon Sports Complex on July 29, 2025.

The caravan, spearheaded by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, brought various government services directly to more than 1,500 Filipinos, with special attention given to reintegrating OFWs and their families. The First Lady personally met with the OFW beneficiaries, emphasizing the administration’s push for sustainable livelihood and reintegration.

The BPBH program offers investment opportunities, training, and entrepreneurship support to help returning Filipinas establish their own businesses and achieve financial independence.

The initiative is in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to intensify reintegration efforts and provide long-term support for migrant workers and their families.

Alongside the DMW, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and other national agencies took part in the caravan to extend medical, social, and welfare programs to vulnerable sectors under the government’s Bagong Pilipinas campaign.
