Temperature surge: UAE set to swelter at 45°C in internal regions

The National Center of Meteorology has forecasted a largely fair day across the UAE, accompanied by a rise in temperature. According to the Met department, internal areas are anticipated to experience temperatures ranging between 40 to 45 degrees Celsius. Coastal regions and islands will see mercury levels ranging from 30 to 43 degrees Celsius.

As the day progresses, humidity is expected to increase by nightfall and into Thursday morning over select coastal areas. Abu Dhabi is predicted to reach a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius, while Dubai will see a high of 38 degrees Celsius.

Light to moderate winds, blowing mostly at speeds of 10 to 20 km/hour, may reach up to 30 km/hour intermittently. The sea conditions are expected to be calm, with slight waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
