In a spirited gathering at BurJuman Mall, Team UAE proudly introduced its official delegates for the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2025. Comprising 13 talented performers and 26 dedicated attendees, the team represents a diverse mix of nationalities, including South Africa, Canada, the Philippines, India, and Lebanon—all united under the UAE banner.
The orientation event was more than just a formal introduction—it was a celebration of creativity and cultural pride. Delegates were briefed on their journey ahead, received their official uniforms, and participated in a photoshoot. The event also featured inspiring messages from guest speakers, fueling the young artists with motivation as they prepare for the international stage.
Leading the team is Mr. Elipas Sibua, WCOPA UAE National Director, who is also the artistic director of Off Broadway UAE and a distinguished music educator at Sunmarke School. Known for his unwavering dedication to nurturing young talents, Sibua expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to shine on the global stage.
Scheduled to compete in various categories, including vocals, acting, modeling, dance, and instrumentals, the delegates are set to showcase their skills at the WCOPA in Long Beach, California, from July 16 to 25, 2025.
