Team Pilipinas won two gold and two bronze medals at the 12th Edition of the Robotics Championship International held from May 9 to 11 in Oradea, Romania.
According to a Bayan Mo, Ipatrol mo report, the team secured gold in the Humanoid Challenge and with their Medical Robot invention in the Freestyle Open (All Ages) category. They also earned bronze medals in the Mega Sumo Robot Challenge and with their AI-powered trash segregator in the Freestyle High School Category.
The competition took place at the University of Oradea, and the team comprised students from Homeschool Global in Taguig City and Panabo National High School in Davao Del Norte. Their coach, Engineer Fred Boringot of Erovoutika Electronics Robotics Solutions, provided guidance and sponsorship for their projects.
